Does EverCool SolarVent need electricity or wiring?
No. EverCool SolarVent runs from its solar panel, so there's no mains wiring and no ongoing electricity costs. A 240V power adaptor is included too. Plug it in to run the unit off mains power, including at night without solar, and it automatically switches back to solar power once the thermostat reaches 25°C.
Can EverCool help reduce my air conditioning use?
By removing hot air from your roof cavity, EverCool can help reduce heat build-up above your ceiling. That can make your home more comfortable and may help take some of the load off your air conditioning.
