What is the EverCool SolarVent?
A 100% solar-powered roof ventilation unit that draws hot, trapped air out of your roof space using energy from its own solar panel — no wiring and no electricity bills. It's designed as a quieter, tougher alternative to a traditional whirlybird.
How does it work?
The solar panel captures sunlight, which powers the fan motor. The fan draws hot air out of the roof cavity and circulates cooler air in, reducing heat build-up — all without drawing any power from the grid.
Does it need to be wired into my electricity?
No — it's fully solar-powered with no wiring required.

Who actually does the installation?
Evercool Vents isn't a roofing install crew itself — we connect you with a recommended local roofer in your area who carries out the installation.
What roof types can be installed on?
Concrete Tile, Terracotta Tile, Corrugated Roof, TrimDek/Monoclad Roof, and Kliplok Roof. If your roof type isn't listed, contact us before booking so we can confirm it can be serviced.
How many units does my roof need?
As a guide, we recommend one unit for every 100 sqm of roof area, rounded up — e.g. a 150 sqm roof needs 2 units. Use the calculator on the Book Your Installation page, or send us your address and we'll recommend a quantity.
Where do you offer installation?
